Budget / objective adequacy Before you start creating a website: ask yourself the question of its objective, and the distance you want to cover with it. Should you create a free site, start creating with a CMS such as WordPress or choose a web agency or IT services company to develop the site of your dreams. You must clearly write your need, is it a simple showcase site, an online store or even a community site?




This should already guide you to know whether you Special Database should delegate or not. Of course, the question of budget is essential. If you are not able to invest a few thousand euros, it is more interesting to do it yourself but it will take a lot of time if you do not have the skills: you will have to choose a CMS, find web hosting , doing a little graphics and configuration ( WordPress themes and plugins for example) and producing content... All these tasks can be delegated to a professional who will save you precious time.





Define your USP USP is a term that means “Unique Selling Proposition”, in French “Your unique selling proposition”: it is your added value, your way of standing out from your competitors . To define it, answer at least these questions: What are your values? What services do you want to implement? What are those of your competitors? If you had just one advantage to highlight, what would it be? What are the obstacles that your market research has identified? The more specific you are about your USP, the more you will be able to clarify your project and therefore your brief if you decide to use a freelancer or a web agency.
