Not just in terms of understanding your customers but also in terms of language and their emotions.by getting them out in the field talking to customers. You can segment and target based on location. You can target ads about your physical store location to people who have visited your website and live within a certain radius of your store. Of course these ads are not relevant to people who live on the other side of the country so these people should run ads specific to your e-commerce products. For those who have visited your store and browsed your men's clothing options you can retarget with messages specific to your men's clothing options and you can target those interested in women's clothing through these products.
