Osiptel: This is the total number of services in the first quarter of 2023

During the first quarter of 2023, the Supervisory Body for Private Investment in Telecommunications (Osiptel), carried out some . mobile and fixed telephony, pay television and internet throughout the country belonging to the operating companies of Peru, which offer services of166,356 services to users

Osiptel Attentions
Considering global statistics, 52,226 (31.4%) are Telegram Number Data services provided through radio programs broadcast in 22 regions , which are Línea Directa con Osiptel (34 410) and other programs (17 816). In each of them, information is provided on different topics inherent to user rights regarding public telecommunications services; As well as, different queries that are part of the attention and control of the regulatory entity can be heard and commented on.

For its part, some 17,591 (10.6%) services provided by Osiptel were provided through outreach activities, as is the case of trainings (12,485) and itinerant days (5,106). It is a process that was carried out during the months of January and March 2023, allowing different users to be targeted.


Increase between 2022 and 2023
For 96,539 (58%), they refer to the services requested by the user, which were carried out through. 2022 (94,835). This is a figure that had an increase of 1.8%, this in relation to what happened throughout telephone channels, emails, offices, social networks and in-person verification in the different service centers of the operators

In relation to the attention requested by users, some 55,859 expressed themselves about the mobile telephone service, where their representation of a 68% globally. Other data of interest have to do with packaging services (12,760), fixed internet (5,408), mobile telephony (4,935), pay television (1852), etc.



Operating companies
Osiptel will review cap rates for Internet access and Internet transport services | National Radio
The statistics by operating company show that a greater number of attentions come from users of Movistar 49,385 (64.4%), Claro 13,770 (18%), Entel 10,450 (13.6% ) and Bitel with 3,061 (4%).

Osiptel service channels
As for Osiptel's guidance channels, the telephone channel obtained the largest number of attentions (52,556). In second place was the in-person modality (24,930).

Through emails or websites, some 12,810 attentions were made, for this purpose in-person monitoring was used throughout the service centers of the operators, having a total of 5,619 orientations. In turn, social networks obtained some 399 orientations, while other channels were represented by 225 a>.

To close, Lima was positioned as the city with the highest number of user requests (14,389). However, there was a large amount of attention in different regional offices, as is the case of La Libertad, Cusco, Loreto, Áncash, Arequipa and Amazonas.
