After several weeks of mandatory preventive isolation, the necessary measures are being adopted in Colombia to progressively restart certain economic activities. This process will be successful to the extent that the sectors commit to implementing sufficiently robust safety, health and hygiene protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Furthermore, it is necessary to adapt it to the circumstances in which these economic activities are carried out. This is the main challenge that the reactivation of rural electrification work on the Colombian Pacific coast will face. Since 2015, the Inter-American Development Bank has worked with the Government of Colombia in the implementation of the We Are All Peaceful Plan (PTSP).
